The 58th Street Presbyterian Home continues a long tradition of progressive and compassionate care for seniors. Situated in southwest Philadelphia on a beautifully landscaped eight-acre campus known as The 58th Street Community, this vibrant 59-bed nursing and rehabilitative health center carries on a historic ministry. Residents receive excellent care and rehabilitation services, along with a variety of stimulating social and recreational opportunities.

Convenient to both the city and the suburbs, the 58th Street Presbyterian Home provides an ideal location for seniors and their families who live and work in and around Philadelphia.

Residents make themselves at home with the furnishings and personal effects that make them comfortable. The following services are included in a resident’s daily rate:

- 24-hour nursing care
- Furnished rooms with electronic beds
- Restaurant-style dining with three meals daily, including prescribed therapeutic diets
- Restorative nursing care
- Free transportation to doctor’s appointments
- Housekeeping and maintenance services
- Barber/beautician services
- Use of wheelchairs, walkers and lifts

At The 58th Street Presbyterian Home, we know that meeting a person’s medical needs is only part of caring for the whole person. That’s why we combine outstanding medical care with a varied program of daily activities and regular off-campus excursions with our wheelchair-accessible van. Fun and fulfilling recreational therapy includes gardening, pet therapy and reminiscing activities, as well as holiday celebrations and seasonal special events. Our landscaped grounds and gardens are ideal for strolls and enjoying the fresh air. Local childcare centers and nearby “adopted” elementary schools also provide the opportunity for fun, intergenerational visits and programs.
