Our dedicated and highly trained staff are able to provide specialized short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing care in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. SERVICES
Our facility uses a customer service program called the Guardian Angel Program. The goal is to ensure that our patients are cared for in a clean, compassionate, comfortable environment and have a memorable experience while residing with us. The Guardian Angel Program connects a special staff member, other than their normal care givers, with each patient to provide extra attention and support. Each Guardian Angel visits their patients daily and is available to provide assistance with all aspects of the stay, from answering questions about care and services to providing the time for friendly conversation. A note placed in each patient's room identifies their Guardian Angel. Please share any concerns or questions regarding your stay with your Guardian Angel. You can be assured your concerns or questions will receive the appropriate attention.

DINING
Our experienced and professional Food Service Staff is committed to providing a memorable dining experience which enhances our patients’ quality of life and nutrition during their recovery. We encourage our patients to join the Food Committee and provide feedback on our menus and address menu likes and dislikes. These patient-led committees also assist in developing the menus for theme parties and holiday meals. We formally change our master menus twice a year for the Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer cycles to provide food and ingredient variety. Our Food Service Department is led by a Director, a Certified Dietary Manager, and their assistants. In addition, our building has a Registered Dietician who consults with our Food Service staff and conducts patient assessments, obtains patient food preferences and formulates patient care plans and menus. Finally, our rehabilitation staff, in particular speech therapy, works closely with the Food Service staff to ensure we meet the special needs of those patients with swallowing difficulties.

ACTIVITIES
Our experienced and professional staff is committed to providing a variety of activities with the goal of enhancing our patients’ quality of life during their recovery. We develop activities calendars based on individual assessments of a patient's past and current activity interests. Our activities include external outings such as shopping, dining out and sporting events. In addition we invite entertainers to visit our facility to provide services such as line dancing (including those in wheelchairs) and holiday/theme party performances.
Our Activities Department is lead on a daily basis by a Director and their assistants. Our other Department Managers also support the Activities Department by volunteering to lead one activity per month based on their areas of interest and patient feedback. This not only enhances our patients’ experiences, but it also allows our staff to get to know our patients more closely. Our patients have experienced playing Poker, Wine and Cheese Socials and children's Karate School demonstrations thanks to the involvement of our facility leadership team members. Compassionate volunteers who can assist our staff in delivering a truly memorable leisure activity experience to our patients are always welcome to join our team.
