The staff and residents welcome you to the The Bradford County Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. The Manor has taken great strides over the last few years. We have integrated a modern approach to what the Manor has to offer, yet still retain the excellent reputation as Bradford County’s most experienced skilled nursing facility.
The Bradford County Manor Services
The Manor now has dining rooms on each floor so that our residents and their families can enjoy a "fine dining" atmosphere when they have their meals.
The new Rehabilitation Center is complete and we can now provide this service on an out patient basis. We are excited and proud to be able to offer the citizens of Bradford County and surrounding areas the use of our state of-the-art rehabilitation center.

NURSING SERVICES
Our professional and compassionate staff work together as a team to provide our residents with a higher level of care than the traditional skilled nursing facility. The Manor offers Palliative Care (a total quality-of life program for chronic or advanced conditions), Enhanced Strength (a skilled physical therapy and rehabilitation program), and our Serenity Suite (a comforting, homelike setting for dying residents).
Whatever the needs you or your loved ones may be, The Manor is here to meet them with skill, caring, dignity and the utmost compassion. We combine the resources of a qualified team of professionals and work together to develop a customized, holistic care plan.
RECREATIONAL THERAPY
The Manor’s experienced recreational staff has implemented a quality program that focuses on the social needs of our residents and contributes to their daily well-being. The Manor’s recreational therapy department offers a full slate of activities for our residents and their families such as bingo, quilting, and one on one visits. We take our residents on shopping excursions, picnics, fishing trips and country rides. The Manor has several cats and a dog that live with us, and we also welcome pet “visitsâ€.
PHYSICAL, OCCUPATIONAL AND SPEECH THERAPIES
The goal of our Therapy Department is to alleviate physical challenge and promote independence in those we serve. Our professional team of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists provide custom-designed Rehab programs for residents recuperating from a variety of debilitating injuries and illnesses. Focus is upon assisting the individual to regain skills and abilities needed for optimum independence.
Our commitment to this goal has led to Therapy services available six days per week, rather than a traditional five days per week program.
*An Orthopedic Surgeon serves as Medical Director for this department.
We are proud to provide a full-time Rehab Department with a caring, creative and professional team of Therapists. Our expertise addresses the needs from the younger adult to senior citizens.
Our Physical Therapy Staff improves quality of life by promoting functional independence. Each therapy program addresses the resident’s unique circumstances to help regain balance, good body mechanics, strength and mobility.
Our Occupational Therapy Staff increases functional ability with daily activities such as dressing, bathing and eating accomplished through customized treatment plans.
Our Speech Language Pathologists work our residents to increase abilities with swallowing, communication and cognitive abilities.
Our Therapy Programs
Fall Prevention Program, therapists identify residents at risk for falls and use the safest intervention possible to prevent future falls.
Contracture Management is available to help prevent contractures and/or treat current contractures.
Screening Intervention Program determines if any functional changes have occurred and if the resident would benefit from rehab intervention.
Patient & Family Education and Home Assessments prior to discharge from therapy, to ensure that maximum independence is maintained.
Out Patient Information
OUT-PATIENT therapy services are now available! If you are in need of physical, occupational or speech therapy, you now have the opportunity to take advantage of our brand new state-of-the-art rehab center on an out-patient basis. Our award winning therapy team will work with you on an individual basis using all the latest techniques and equipment to ensure positive results.
