Briarcliff Pavilion for Specialized Care was established in 1978 and is closely connected to the communities of North Huntingdon, McKeesport, Irwin and Jeannette. As a provider of skilled nursing care services, Briarcliff Pavilion has established a reputation as an attractive, high quality care nursing facility with 24 hour professional nursing care coverage. The facility provides excellent physical, occupational and speech therapy programs up to seven days a week. We offer recreational therapy and a progressive restorative nursing program, also up to seven days a week. Briarcliff Pavilion provides full time dietician services with therapeutic diets as well as parental (intravenous) and enteral (tube feeding) care Our dietician is available to meet with residents and family members to discuss any special dietary needs. The facility is capable of caring for residents with various needs such as; oxygen therapy, laboratory testing, radiation therapy, radiology testing and kidney dialysis and bariatric care. All aspects of the resident care is planned prior to their admission into our facility. We focus on the individual needs of our residents and plan their treatment according to their special needs.
Our facility is located within minutes of several major hospitals such as; UPMC of McKeesport Hospital, Forbes Regional Hospital, Jeannette District Memorial Hospital and Monsour Medical Center. Briarcliff Pavilion sits on a lovely wooded lot in North Huntingdon.
Briarcliff Pavilion is fully licensed through both the state and federal government to care for residents with Medicare, Medical Assistance , and many private and HMO insurance’s. The admission process can be confusing and overwhelming to the resident’s family members. Our Admissions Director can provide valuable information to you during this process. The social service, admissions and billing staff work closely with the residents and family to address the resident’s financial needs.
