Residents of Bucktail Medical Center’s Skilled Nursing Facility are offered a wide variety of activities in a homey, comfortable setting. From walks in the beautiful surrounding area, to programmed activities such as craft workshops, and bingo, the Skilled Nursing Facility brings a little bit of home to every resident. Located behind the facility is a beautiful pond, this pond is for the residents enjoyment of the outdoor environment without sacrificing safety.
With the full-service hospital located in the same building, the Center offers the benefit of being close to services such as, laboratory, radiology, podiatry, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy and social services. Additionaly, the Skilled Nursing Facility provides transportation for residents’ medical appointments and planned community activity outings.
The Bucktail Medical Center Skilled Nursing Facility provides opportunities for all residents, including its professional staff, to know one another and develop personal relationships so important to the resident's care. A meaningful volunteer program enables residents to maintain close contact with their neighbors in the nearby Renovo area. We ensure each resident is made to feel special and cared for in a very personal and friendly atmosphere.
