In 2007, Fair Winds Manor celebrated 50 years of providing "Gracious Care" in an elegant tradition. In 2005, our facility earned a deficiency free survey from the Pennsylvania State Department of Health, and we continue to remain committed to providing excellent care for each resident.

Fair Winds Manor began as a farm house. In 1957, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brown opened the facility as a nursing and retirement home. During this time, nursing homes were places mainly for recovery and recuperation.

In 1979, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Blair became owners of Fair Winds Manor and the 4.2 acres of farmland surrounding the facility. At this time, nursing homes evolved into health care provider facilities.

Ownership of Fair Winds Manor transferred to David Smith, CPA, and Dr. Alexander Krot in 1994. Mr. Smith sold the home to current owners, the Tack family, in 2007. Through the many facets and changes of our health care system, Fair Winds Manor remains constant in providing quality care through our tradition of "Elegance and Excellence."

At Fair Winds Manor, visitors are always welcome to tour our beautiful facility and grounds.
