When living alone is no longer an option for seniors, Fellowship Manor provides residents with total 24-hour care. Our not-for-profit facility is staffed with qualified medical and social personnel to provide the best life possible for those requiring short term rehab or long term nursing care.
Special attention is paid to each individual's specific needs on physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual levels.
The staff at Fellowship Manor is committed to providing "ease-of-transition" whether it is back to the resident's home or adjusting to becoming a permanent resident.

Activities Programming
Fellowship Community has ongoing activity programs to meet the physical, spiritual, mental and psychosocial needs of each resident. We assist our residents to achieve the highest level of functioning through the use of recreational therapy. Our residents enjoy a variety of activities, including socials, music, games, mindjoggers, reading groups and many others. Activities are designed to meet the needs of each resident and may also include overnight trips, concerts, dinner theatre and sports events. Residents are encouraged to attend regularly scheduled community events and outings.
Banking Services
National Penn Bank, our onsite bank is open to all residents of Fellowship Community. The bank is open every Friday, from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. In addition to these onsite hours, an ATM is located in the lobby for round the clock service and the local branch of National Penn Bank is within a 5-minute drive of our community.
Continuing Care Services
Fellowship Community provides a unique service, managed by a geriatric clinician that ensures proper placement of residents and smooth transitions along the continuum of care. The goal is for "Healthy Living and Aging." Some of the services include:
Initiate programs to meet the needs of independent living residents.
Provide education and referrals to existing community resources.
Assess need for change in level of care for independent living, assisted living and
skilled nursing.
Assist families and significant others to help their loved ones remain at the most
independent level of care for as long as possible.
Provide counseling and interventions in the following areas:
- Caregiver Stress
- Grief and Bereavement Counseling
- Pastoral Counseling
- Follow-up Visits for Sick and Shut-ins
- Post Hospitalization Needs
In general the continuing care coordinator serves as a liaison and case manager between the various levels of care within Fellowship Community and the community at large.
Exercise And Fitness Room
There is a variety of exercise equipment to meet the needs of all residents. Equipment includes a treadmill, exercise bike, two recumbent bikes, a wind bike, sci-fit for lower extremity and upper extremity fitness, cardio-fit unit and free weights. Information on flexibility and stretching programs are also available.
Hair Care
"Cuts, Curls & More," our onsite salon is open to all residents, men and women, of Fellowship Community. The salon is open Monday through Friday with services including haircuts, sets, perms, color and manicures.
Medical Services
Fellowship Community employs a full-time Medical Director specializing in geriatric care. There is 24-hour, seven-days-per-week physician coverage to meet the medical care needs of our residents in the Manor and the Terrace.
Geriatric Psychiatry and Psychology services are provided on-site to meet the special needs of all residents. Podiatry services are also provided on-site to all residents in the community.
In addition, Fellowship Community has an on-site Dental Clinic headed by a D.M.D. to provide comprehensive dental care to residents in our community.
Should the need arise, emergency dental care is also available 24 hours a day. Fellowship Community is within minutes of three major hospitals.
The Park
Our beautiful park and scenic pond provide a natural setting for all residents to enjoy. Upon completion, paved paths will provide easy access to picnic pavilions and overlooks. The memorial walkway will be an area where residents, family and friends can spend some relaxing time. The bocce ball and shuffleboard courts offer the chance for some friendly competition. Well-lit sidewalks offer many opportunities to enjoy all parts of our campus
Church Services/Pastoral Support
Fellowship Community provides spiritual care and religious services for residents, families and staff. Staff chaplains and local churches provide non-denominational worship services. Chaplains make periodic visits to residents, provide bible studies, spiritual counseling, hospital visits and are on-call for spiritual needs. Special seasonal services and memorial services are held throughout the year. Clergy of all denominations are welcome to visit residents at any time.
Rehabilitation Services
Our Fellowship Community therapists offer individualized, comprehensive rehabilitation services including Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy. Rehabilitation Services are provided with the intent to restore functional abilities, promote increased independence and allow for optimal function of those residents with physical disabilities. The rehabilitation staff is skilled in the evaluation and treatment of injuries, including orthopedic, neurologic, cardiac, pulmonary and wound care. We provide individualized care with a high staff-to-patient ratio. These services are available to all residents of Fellowship Community.
Physical and Occupational Therapy Treatment Includes:
Therapeutic exercise to increase muscle function, coordination, endurance, and mobility
Gait and balance training to improve safe functional mobility
Muscle re-education to regain function
Joint and soft tissue mobilization to increase range of motion
Living skills re-education to improve skills with dressing, bathing, grooming, and eating
Splint fabrication
Speech Therapy Treatment Includes:
Comprehension skills for written and verbal communication
Verbal and non-verbal communication, including the use of augmentation systems if necessary
Cognitive re-training, including memory, orientation and reasoning skills
Oral muscle strength and functioning for speaking and swallowing
Swallowing skills
The Country Store
The Country Store is located on "Main Street" on the first level of Fellowship Terrace. The store is open to the residents of our community as well as to our visitors and staff.
The Country Store carries a wide variety of gifts, cards, food, candy, premium chocolates, ice cream and beverages. Customers will enjoy the specialty food items available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a delightful selection of seasonal items for purchase throughout the year.
Store hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
