Kade Nursing Home is a 74 bed skilled and intermediate nursing care and rehabilitation facility located in Washington, Pennsylvania, about thirty minutes south of Pittsburgh. This stately structure was the original site of the century old Wylic Mansion which enjoys a panoramic view of the quaint college town in the valley below.

The complex was totally remodeled in 1995 to be as colorful as it is functional. The interior is a sea of brightly colored wallpaper and stripped and flower-print fabrics. It was designed to house a centrally located nurse’s station to assist in delivering a full range of health care services. These services include IV therapy, wound care, enteral nutrition, trach care, oxygen therapy and restorative nursing. We also provide a variety of medical services which go hand in hand with the nursing services, these include dental and eye care, podiatry, psychiatry, psychology, audiology, respite and hospice care. Kade also offers physical, occupational and speech therapy.

Upon admission and throughout a resident’s stay at Kade Nursing Home, the staff implements a comprehensive treatment plan that enables them to achieve their best results. This involves the coordination of special diets which meet specific nutritional needs as well as personal preferences. A full range of daily recreational programs, entertainment, special needs programs and religious services, all add to the quality of life. The social service department provides emotional support and coordinates numerous outside services to assist residents and their families with every aspect of their stay at Kade.

The warm home like environment at Kade Nursing Home, complete with its full spectrum of services, will provide health, safety, comfort and independence for the entire "Kade Family" who dwell within the facility.
