Lakeside Nursing Center, situated near beautiful Harvey’s Lake Pennsylvania, is a 31-bed nursing home. The facility is easily accessible to major highways route 81 and 476 near Wilkes Barre, Scranton area. We accept HMO recipients, along with numerous other insurance and are both Medicare and Medicaid licensed. In addition, we are affiliated with local hospitals, including the prestigious John Heinz Institute.
Our highly-trained team at Lakeside is dedicated to caring for your loved one’s most personal needs. Our group of professionals available at Lakeside includes accredited physical and occupational therapists, a dedicated group of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nurse aids. We have a full-time support staff consisting of a social worker, a licensed dietitian, and a certified activities director. Our personnel at Lakeside have years of experience in caring for the elderly and debilitated population.
Other services available to our residents include physical therapy, speech-therapy, podiatry, dental, and eye care. We also provide mental health support with referrals to an experienced psychiatrist and a licensed therapeutic social worker.
