The Overlook Medical Clinic is situated on a fifteen acre tract of property "overlooking" Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA. This rural area is also inhabited by the Amish community, and a frequent sight is the Amish horse and buggy mingled throughout the local traffic.
The Overlook is a 115 bed skilled and intermediate nursing care facility, certified for both Medicare and Medicaid. We also have contracts with Security Blue, Aetna U. S. Health Care and Three Rivers Health Maintenance Organizations. The "campus -like" setting includes 22 Personal Care or Assisted Living rooms and 16 Independent Living apartments.
This rustic, rural facility enjoys the advantage of shade trees, holly bushes, wrap- around porch and screened patio along with the highly skilled staff of Registered Nurses, Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. All staff members including social services, dietary, maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, activities and business office personnel are dedicated to the needs of the elderly or infirmed. While enjoying the rural advantages, this Western Pennsylvania facility is within one to two hours distance by car to major health systems in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
On site services include physical, speech and occupational therapy, dental and eye care, radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, podiatry and psychiatry in addition to the highly qualified medical staff for both short and long term placement.
