The heart of Smith Health Care is family. Now in our third generation of providing long-term care for the elderly, we are continuing a tradition of service that makes our residents truly part of our family.
We believe that our residents should live life to the fullest, in an atmosphere where they are loved and appreciated, treated with respect and given the best nursing and medical care possible.
Smith Health Care is a fully accredited skilled nursing and personal care facility with an excellent staff of dedicated professionals. We take pride in the fact that many of our employees have been with us for years.
We feel that continuity enhances the standard of care and family feeling for our residents and creates a happier workplace for our staff.
Smith Health Care has been providing quality compassionate care since 1966 when Ralph and Ruth Smith founded Smith Nursing Home. Starting as a skilled nursing home, we added personal care services in 1989 and in late 2000, we completed our most ambitious project ever, with the opening of a new 72-bed assisted living center, designed to meet the growing needs of our region's older population. Today we offer assisted living, personal care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation services.

FACILITIES
Because Smith Health Care is home for our residents, we strive to make it look and feel like home. All residents enjoy home cooked meals in our new dining room. Our resident rooms, lounges, sitting areas and even hallways are designed to be comfortable and attractive, with furnishings, wall and floor coverings and decorations you would find in many private homes.
Our grounds are on a ten-acre parcel of wooded property, with beautiful views of trees and natural wildlife. The focal point of the facility is the center courtyard, where walkways wind their way through landscaped gardens amid waterfalls, benches and a gazebo. Every resident room has a scenic view.
