When life demands medical care, it's a comfort to have the Meadows Health Care Center on campus. Our residents receive the appropriate treatment and therapy for their individual needs. Tel Hai's Health Care Center is a 139-bed Medicare and Medicaid-certified facility offering skilled nursing care in private and semi-private accommodations. Residents receive 24-hour nursing supervision with a high quality of care delivery.

REHABILITATION SERVICES
Tel Hai Retirement Community offers a full compliment of rehabilitation services available on site in two great locations. The services provided include, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. Through our full rehabilitation services, each individual receives the appropriate treatment and therapy for their individual needs to ensure an optimal level of quality of life.
Our dynamic rehabilitation department provides subacute rehabilitation to residents with short term therapy needs who are planning on returning home or to those who may need long term therapy. Our subacute therapy is provided in our therapy gym located in The Meadowridge Health Care Center.
Those individuals who require out patient therapy can visit our out patient gym. The out patient gym is located in the new Lakeview Health Suite. The Health Suite is conveniently located to provide easy access to everyone requiring services.
HEATHER GARDENS OF THE MEADOWS HEALTH CARE CENTER
Illnesses like Alzheimer's Disease effect the way people respond to their environment and to the people around them. Providing structure during the day helps decrease the frustration that people with dementia often feel. Introducing familiar activities and tasks into a person's daily routine provides opportunities for success and a sense of pride in individual accomplishments. When individuals become familiar with their peers, caregivers, and environment, they are better able to cope, enhancing their lives.
Heather Gardens Admissions
Admissions to the 24-bed Heather Gardens is arranged through the Admissions Coordinator at The Meadows Health Care Center. Initial and ongoing assessments are made to determine the most appropriate environment throughout the course of the disease process. For residents who no longer benefit from the structured programming offered at Heather Gardens, a transfer to another wing of the Health Care Center will be arranged. All efforts are made throughout the Center to provide compatible room assignments whenever possible. Admission is based upon a person's physical and cognitive needs, not on the basis of race, sex, religion, gender or financial resources.
HEALTH SUITE
All the residents of The Meadowridge Health Care Center have podiatry, audiology, dental and ophthalmology services available to them. These services are available in our modern and conviently located Health Suite.
EVERCARE
Evercare can help a permanent placement resident of our health care center live a more comfortable life by providing coordinated care and more health care coverage than with traditional Medicare. All this for no additional premium beyond your customary monthly Medicare payment.
The success of Evercare is based on teamwork. In addition to our healthcare center's nursing staff and your primary physician Evercare provides a nurse practitioner to help coordinate the healthcare needs of enrolled residents.
Unlike traditional Medicare, Evercare does not require a three-day minimum hospital stay to qualify for covered skilled services in our healthcare center.
