Welcome to Wallingford Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, conveniently located 10 miles south of Philadelphia in the Media area, the heart of Delaware County. The Wallingford is a skilled and subacute nursing center with a reputation for providing comprehensive rehabilitation, Alzheimer's care, advanced wound management, and experienced, high-quality professional nursing care.
With an emphasis on shorter lengths of stay, The Wallingford offers an interdisciplinary team approach to individual care and treatment planning. For each resident, a detailed care plan is developed, implemented and modified based on set pre-admission goals. In most cases, the treatment plan is designed to maximize independent functioning, to improve psychological as well as, physical well-being and to assist the residents to return to their highest level of independence.
We encourage active participation in our social and recreational programs in a caring atmosphere of warmth, dignity and respect with focus on the individual needs, potential and interest of the patient. We provide 24-hour nursing care, respite/vacation care, wound care and hospice and palliative care.
