A warm and friendly place; a caring place are just words, unless you can actually put the meaning of these words into action. You will find from the residents living at Woodland Place that every part of their daily living surrounds the meaning of these words. We look at health care as a complete continuum of care while focusing on every resident’s individual medical, emotional, and psychological need. Our physicians, therapists, registered nurses, and other staff professionals work as a team to plan care for each individual. We are rehabilitating people to their highest level of personal function always striving for independent living.

Woodland Place currently sits on 200 acres in Coolspring Township and is centrally located among all Mercer County’s growing suburban areas. We are a private non-profit organization guided by a board of directors that was developed from individuals in our community. Our Mission is to provide healthcare services to the residents of our community regardless of their abilities to pay and will continue to provide quality services to our community as it has done for over 100 years.
Woodland Place accepts people based upon the individual’s health needs. We are non-discriminatory of age, sex, religion or financial status. Whether individuals need short-term rehabilitation or special long-term care we have a place for them. We provide a very supportive environment. We would appreciate the opportunity to share our Woodland Place Community with you.

Respite care provides a temporary break for caregivers by allowing a resident to have a short-term stay in an environment that can provide the 24 hour care needed. “Respite care” residents living in our facility will be provided the same 24 hour care as our permanent residents. This time period may also serve as a “get to know us” time. The resident may decide to stay long term or return when needed.

Short-term rehabilitation is offered to residents who are unable to stay home and require continued assistance and care. We provide physical, occupational and speech therapy from therapists who are trained to help our residents reach goals and enable them to return home as quickly as possible. We believe in maintaining independence in our facility and in the community at large. Prior to discharge we will assist to arrange appropriate care at home or make contact with our local aging office. We remain committed in returning our short-term stay residents to home.

Our 11 private rooms are the perfect atmosphere for our short-term stay residents. These comfortable rooms give our residents the privacy desired while providing the 24-hour nursing care and therapies as required.
